Albert Einstein's two papers on the Theory of Relativity handsomely printed by letterpress and bound by hand. The edition includes a foreword, annotations, and afterword by Richard A. Muller of UC Berkeley. The commentary explains the story of the miraculous year of 1905, when Einstein was only twenty-six.The mathematical formulas were set by hand, as was the display type, with text composed and cast in Monotype. The types are Modern, Egyptian, and Lining Gothic. The paper is Schiller, a German mouldmade sheet. A pixelated portrait of Einstein is the frontispiece.
